NOVERA PNT is like the first brush stroke that determines everything that follows.
A subtle layer that prepares the substrate: it equalizes absorbency, strengthens the surface, opens pores where desired, and seals them where they would hinder adhesion.
It is a handshake between the old surface and new technology. After curing, it forms a rough, anchoring surface—ideal for transitioning to NOVERA HydroRepair, NOVERA Reflex, or NOVERA Exterior.
At the same time, it meets the environmental criteria of modern projects: water-based, VOC-free, and safe for application teams and occupants.

TECHNOLOGY
WHAT IS NOVERA HYDROREPAIR
NOVERA PNT is a single-component polymer penetrating primer designed to:
Unify absorbency – penetrates into capillaries, evens out the absorption characteristics of the surface, thereby preventing uneven absorption of subsequent layers.
Strengthen the surface – consolidates dusty, friable, or separating layers and stabilizes the substrate for further system layers.
Create an adhesion structure – after drying, the surface develops a micro-rough texture that acts as an anchoring profile for both elastic and more rigid subsequent layers.
Ensure penetration even on smooth surfaces – thanks to its low viscosity, it penetrates fine pores and microstructures, increasing adhesion on smooth materials.
Repair and protect – increases surface resistance to mechanical abrasion prior to the application of final layers.

APPLICATION
Surface preparation
Remove dust, grease, and loose particles.
Clean mechanically or with pressurized water and allow to dry.
Repair larger cracks or cavities (HydroRepair).
For extremely cracked or weakened surfaces, use NOVERA Spider reinforcement.
Application
Application tools: roller, brush, airless spray.
One thin coat is sufficient; for highly absorbent surfaces, two coats are recommended.
Apply evenly and avoid the formation of standing puddles.
Conditions
Application temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C.
Relative humidity: recommended below 80%.
Drying time: surface-dry usually within 1–3 hours (depending on temperature and absorbency); ready for subsequent layers after 4–24 hours.
Consumption
- Approx. 1 kg per 2–4 m², depending on the absorbency and roughness of the substrate.
Quality control
Check absorbency uniformity (e.g. using a simple paper absorbency test).
Perform an adhesion test using a pilot tape test on a selected area before full application.
